David Abrahams
David Abrahams is a chartered accountant and management consultant who has spent over thirty years running finance functions in a range of businesses including LLPs, privately owned and Venture capital backed companies, public companies and subsidiaries of PLCs. He has run teams with both multi-cultural and multi-jurisdictional challenges. He has worked in rapidly expanding companies and handled the complex three way demerger of a LLP after the partners decided to go in different directions. David has also spent time as a management consultant with a leading firm of accountants working with clients on a range of assignments including being asked back to implement his recommendations.
Sectors David has worked in include:
• Professional services
• Hospitality
• Import and Distribution
• Logistics
• Not-for-profit
Away from the work place David enjoys photography, trekking and cycling holidays in both far flung places and in the British Isles, making music in a brass band and hopes to get back to owning a newfoundland in the not too distant future. He has been a charity trustee and treasurer, and spent the last three Christmas Days in the kitchen of a Crisis centre.
