Econocom are specialists in providing lease based ‘payment-over-time’ and subscription models for digital projects (including hardware and also significant amounts of software and services).
Econocom provided bridging finance over 18 months of a major IT project at MAB, paying all suppliers and contractors along the way. At the appropriate time, when we were ready to use the system, the five-year ‘payment-over-time’ model of the project spend kicked in. The lease costs are fully tax deductible year by year and this has a significant advantage to partnerships and LLPs where the individual partner’s and member’s profit sharing can vary year to year, removing the skewing of first year allowances followed by significant depreciation add-backs in subsequent years. .
